ABOUT MY SWEET BABY

My Sweet Baby‘ is a children’s picture book about breastfeeding, family and Singapore – the first of its kind.

The picture book features our unique diversity of Singapore families in the landscape of our country. You will find heartlands and familiar places of interest wonderfully woven into the illustrations. Follow the babies as they grow and thrive on family relationships and breastfeeding.

My Sweet Baby‘ also delicately informs about breastfeeding through the beauty of its words and illustrations. A helpful information blurb about the BMSG and our services will be found at the end pages of the book.

The picture book makes a wonderful reading aloud companion for families, aiding to inculcate early reading habits. It makes a perfect gift for expecting parents, soon-to-be older siblings, and even to friends around the globe!

The picture book is thoughtfully written by Atiqah Halim and Far’ain Jaafar, both volunteer breastfeeding counsellors of the BMSG and published Singaporean children’s picture book authors.

It is also lovingly illustrated by Ummu Tolha, a mother who breastfed through great adversity (read her story here).
