A Helpline For Struggling Mothers
The first few months of a new mother’s life can be extremely challenging, coupled with breastfeeding and learning how to manage a newborn.
As Singapore’s national breastfeeding helpline, supporting a mother’s mental health is our top priority. Not being able to meet breastfeeding goals or resolve breastfeeding issues are are contributing factors for postpartum depression in new mothers.
Sadly, not every mother is able to overcome the early struggles of breastfeeding and many end up stopping breastfeeding before they are ready. However, through BMSG, mothers and their families are able to reach out to a village of support and knowledge to help them cope with the challenges that come with breastfeeding.
BMSG is a community of mothers who share their experiences and encourage one another to meet their breastfeeding goals.
Help BMSG sustain itself as an entity that provides mental and emotional support for mothers in their most vulnerable moments during postpartum and beyond.
