When exactly should we breastfeed our newborns?

How frequent must newborns be fed?

Is it true that many mothers do not have breastmilk when they have just given birth?

If the above questions have been plaguing your mind, especially if you are expecting, our mini-workshop will answer your burning questions surrounding breastfeeding your newborn in the early days.

From critical junctures, such as what to do after baby arrives in the delivery room, to what’s normal and expected of newborn feeding behaviours, our trained breastfeeding counsellors will share with you evidence-based information, tips and best practices based on current and updated research – even on what to do should you be separated from your baby.

All expecting, breastfeeding mothers and daddies are welcome.

BMSG is a non-profit organisation and Singapore’s first breastfeeding charity. We offer free breastfeeding counselling on multiple platforms and conduct advocacy efforts to normalise breastfeeding for families in Singapore. All proceeds from the workshop go to funding BMSG’s daily operational expenses.
