Learn what is a good latch and how to achieve it in this mini-workshop conducted by BMSG breastfeeding counsellors.

Latching an infant is a learned skill and requires lots of patience and practice. This mini-workshop will touch upon:

  • Description of a good and effective latch
  • Causes of latching difficulties, such as positioning, tongue- and lip-ties
  • Importance of positioning for comfortable breastfeeding
  • How to ensure if baby is taking in enough milk
  • …and other related topics!

The focus of our mini-workshops is also to provide more opportunities for attendees to ask questions and discuss this and other areas of breastfeeding.

All expecting, breastfeeding mothers and daddies are welcome.

BMSG is a non-profit organisation and Singapore’s first breastfeeding charity. We offer free breastfeeding counselling on multiple platforms and conduct advocacy efforts to normalise breastfeeding for families in Singapore. All proceeds from the workshop go to funding BMSG’s daily operational expenses.
