Khatim Hamidon

Khatim is a mother to two boys (#1 weaned at 4.5 years; #2 at 3.5 years old continues to breastfeed) and a full-time executive at a local VWO that has excellent family-friendly policies.

As someone who has been on the board for a number of years, she sees her role evolving from breastfeeding supporter to advocate.

Besides her voluntary work in BMSG, she also supports other grassroots effort in breastfeeding advocacy on social media networks.

She is satisfied that BMSG is beginning to be more prominent nationally and hopes to continue to work together with the BMSG and local community in ensuring continued support to be available for more mothers, and making more inroads in helping Singapore embrace breastfeeding as the norm for all babies and families.
